Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Village North Melbourne, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that enveloped me from the moment I arrived. The friendly and engaging staff, particularly Ellis, made a lasting impression-his charisma brightened my days and turned me into a regular at the paint and sip sessions, where creativity mixed beautifully with community. The hostel's proximity to popular attractions like the State Library of Victoria and the iconic Queen Victoria Market made exploring the city an absolute delight. I appreciated the modern amenities, including air-conditioned rooms with streaming services-perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. My only hiccup was noise from a few rowdy roommates, but the staff swiftly addressed my concerns by offering me a quieter room where I could truly relax. To the vibrant social scene, the Village North Melbourne features fantastic common areas, including a rooftop terrace with breathtaking views, perfect for soaking up the beautiful Melbourne scenery. It's these moments of connection in a place that feels like home that I cherish the most, and I look forward to returning to this gem in the heart of Melbourne!
